Entrance to the water is smooth, beach is shallow, crowded. Resort attracts a lot of tourists from different countries of the world throughout the year. There are many nightclubs, restaurants with high-quality food and hotels of different levels of comfort in city. Each season, infrastructure of beach is developing better. Lovers of watersports and outdoor activities on beach are engaged in kitesurfing, windsurfing, diving, sea fishing. Get to the beach by bus, taxi, suburban electric train.
Among the local attractions are the port and "Central Bank Museum" with archaeological finds from different centuries. Many tour operators carry out excursions and tours to city. Manta is famous for its coffee – tourists coming to resort, be sure to try the local aromatic drink. In port of holidaymakers rent boats, yachts and carry out boat trips. There is a large tropical forest with paved paths for walking near beach.
When is it better to go
In search of a beach holiday, the continental part of Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands can be visited all year round; however, the period from December to May will be the best choice, because the water gets warmer and the rainy season softens the enervating heat.
