Same beach
Same is a quiet and peaceful beach in the north-west of the province of Esmeraldas. Nearby is Sua - a place where daily tour operators with groups of tourists go to watch humpback whales.

Beach description
The beach is sandy. The entry to the water is soft; the sea-floor slope is smooth. The ocean is clear. Water is bright blue. There are no waves and wind due to the location. The resort is surrounded by high hills and lush vegetation. Sand zones are replaced by rocky ones; there are many shells on the coast.
The infrastructure is represented by numerous restaurants with local dishes and sports fields. The town has a large demonstration screen for watching movies and videos. Nightlife is in full swing here. In the town near the beach there are many nightclubs, bars and other establishments. Those who want to eat even at night will find a suitable restaurant with a dish of fish, crabs, squid and other seafood. The main attraction is the seaport, through which ships with various products pass. From the coast of Same, there is a breathtaking view of the long coastline, the endless ocean, high green hills and protected areas with many animals and birds.
When is it better to go
In search of a beach holiday, the continental part of Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands can be visited all year round; however, the period from December to May will be the best choice, because the water gets warmer and the rainy season softens the enervating heat.
