Mancora Beach has a large number of hotels, leisure facilities, and cheap restaurants. But, of course, the beach attracts tourists the most: clean golden sand, smooth entry, small number of reefs by the shore. There are strong winds, so there are a lot of surfers and kites coming to the beach, which sometimes interferes with lazy lovers of sunbathing. In Mancora you can go horseback riding along the coast, which is one of the favorite tourist attractions, and is also cheap.
Mancora is always full of people. In the high season, lovers of warm water flock here to splash and hang out at beach parties, in the low season - lovers of high waves and steep winds.
When is it better to go
The high season in Peru begins in February and lasts until April. It is summer in South America at this time. Ocean water warms up to +24˚С. The air temperature sometimes reaches +40˚С, but the winds become stronger. The rest of the time, the ocean water is cool, not higher than +18˚С. If to go for the sake of a beach holiday, you will not find a better time than in our winter months.
