Zorritos beach
Zorritos Beach is located near the town of Tumbes. Golden sand, warm water and flat wave create a wonderful natural landscape. Close to the beach there are comfortable bungalows, restaurants, and bars. Although it is quieter than Mancora, and fewer people even in the high season.

Beach description
The beach and bottom are sandy, shallow at low tide. Prices in hotels are democratic, you can find options from $20 to $100 per day in the bungalow. Activities include deep sea fishing, Hawaiian board riding, surfing schools.
From Zorritos you can drive to Tumbes (27 km). In the city center there is an interesting Cathedral, built in colonial style. You can also do shopping and buy local souvenirs: with ceramic national figures, clay toys, flowers made of sea animal bones. In addition, tourists are often advised to go to a crocodile farm.
When is it better to go
The high season in Peru begins in February and lasts until April. It is summer in South America at this time. Ocean water warms up to +24˚С. The air temperature sometimes reaches +40˚С, but the winds become stronger. The rest of the time, the ocean water is cool, not higher than +18˚С. If to go for the sake of a beach holiday, you will not find a better time than in our winter months.
