Vichayito beach

It is not so crowded on Vichayito in high season. No vendors, no crowds of noisy vacationers. The ocean wave is quite steep, often windy, so this place is loved by surfers. Depth begins several meters from the shore. Even though the beach has pleasant fine sand, there are stones at the bottom, a few meters from the shore - quite large reefs. Although no one particularly complains about the biting sea creatures, at low tide the bottom is covered with small animals, walking on which barefoot is not very pleasant.

The bungalows are located right on the beach. In many of them, the front walls are wide windows in the floor. Even at night you can hear the sound of the ocean. There are also some of the most beautiful sunsets on the coast. The most popular activities on the beach, except surfing and windsurfing, kayaking and Hawaiian boards. You can also ride a horse along the coast.

When is it better to go

The high season in Peru begins in February and lasts until April. It is summer in South America at this time. Ocean water warms up to +24˚С. The air temperature sometimes reaches +40˚С, but the winds become stronger. The rest of the time, the ocean water is cool, not higher than +18˚С. If to go for the sake of a beach holiday, you will not find a better time than in our winter months.
