Haad Khom beach
Haad Khom is a quite and picturesque beach which is located on the North-Eastern part of the Phangan Island. It is usually a ten-minute walk from the nearest settlement of Chaloklam. By bike or boat it will be much faster.

Beach description
Kayaking and snorkeling trips to the coral reef are the main beach activities, apart from sunbathing on the sand and relaxing in a hammock. In the spring and summer season, the monsoon almost doesn't appear. Waves don't bother the water. The sea entrance is comfortable even for the small children. On a sandy beach from time to time can be seen small stones. Huge boulders adorn the shore and allow to hide from the scorching sun.
Haad Khom attracts lovers, newly married couples, those who enjoy the privacy and snorkeling. Here, on the white sand washed by the crystal clear water, nothing prevents to indulge in serene rest. Car noise rarely breaks the whisper of the surf: The road leading the beach was paved not so long ago. But several inexpensive restaurants and comfortable bungalows, recently appeared on Haad Khom, are waiting for their visitors.
When is it better to go
The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
