Than Sadet beach
The picturesque Than Sadet beach, surrounded by lush green vegetation, is conveniently located at the mouth of the valley of the river Hlong Than Sadet. It flows in close proximity to the highest waterfall of Koh Phangan and nearby National Park.

Beach description
Sand there is soft and white. On both sides the coast is surrounded by large boulders, like peninsulas in miniature. The depth is quite big and it doesn't depend on tides, swimming is good everywhere, but sometimes high waves appear.
Than Sadet can be reached by sea or land road, which leads to Thong Nai Pan Beach. Nearby the Than Sadet are restaurants and bars popular among local cousine lovers.
Active leisure fans can find entertainment on every taste: here they can go on catamarans and sea kayaks. The excursion on a long boat allows to see the whole beach landscape. Before visiting Than Sadet, it is recommended to stock up on cash, as there are no ATMs or mobile connection on the beach.
When is it better to go
The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
