Haad Salad beach
The former pirate pier, nowadays Haad Salad beach, is located in the northwest of Phangan Island. Spectacular sunsets are not might be seen here, but there are plenty of activities for those who wants to spend leisure time well.

Beach description
There is a soft and white sand on Haad salad beach, but sometimes it comes with corals at the entrance to the sea, so you need to swim carefully. Slender palm trees, framing the coast, guarantee escape from sun during hot day and beckon to make a relaxing promenade in the evening.
Both flows and tides are clearly discernible on Haad-Salad. If you would like to swim in the waters here, it is best to do this during the high water levels (November-April). Due to the bay`s openness, monsoons can provoke storms. When they are no monsoons, the beach is completely calm.
On Haad Salad beach you can rent a room with the all amenities-hanging hammock, reliable mosquito net and shower. You can get to Haad Salad either by motorbike (the path can be difficult due to faulty roads) or by taxi from Thong Sala.
When is it better to go
The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
