Beach description
The spacious beach area, which stretches almost for a kilometer, attracts by its comfort and cleanliness. Low tide starting in the morning is not an obstacle to swimming, sea does not go far from the shore.
The ideal place for swimming is the left side of the beach. Its main advantages are:
- white fine sand on the canopy shore;
- impeccable sandy bottom;
- absence of waves;
- the purest transparent water color of azure;
- the presence of natural shadow created by the hanging crowns of tropical trees;
- unusually spectacular sunsets and full moon.
The right half is less popular and comfortable to relax because of small stones exposed after low tide and bunch of motor boats that scare away adherents of silence. But here are hotels, whose guests need to make just a few steps to be by the sea.
The bulk of vacationers- young people 25-35 years old. They are attracted not only by beach entertainment, but also monthly Full Moon parties. Thousands of tourists come to visit them in searching of crazy entertainment and romantic adventures. Full Moon Party is a night of music, impressive fire shows and relaxed communication.
When is it better to go
The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.

There are many hotels for every taste and budget on the beach. Moreover, on Haad Rin you can rent a simple bungalow for $10-13 per day (during parties prices increase twice). The further from the shore and the center of fun, the lower rates for accommodation and more chances for restful sleep.

Party life on Haad Rin is not limited to the Full Moon night. Fun does not stop in ordinary days. The main beach of Pangan is compared to Ibiza not in vain. In the evenings, discos are held in many coastal bars.
During the day vacationers are offered to walk on motor boats. Panoramic landscapes fans, capturing cameras, rush to the north of the beach, where is the best observation deck.
Near the beach part called Had Kontee, there is a living coral reef, attracting divers. Surfers also come here, but too big waves breaking on rocks- is a dangerous challenge for beginners.
