Bathsheba beach
Bathsheba Beach (Bathsheba Beach) is a large sandy-rocky area with a rugged coastline and rock formations. From the coast, it is surrounded by hills, overgrown palm trees and other tropical vegetation. There is a beach near the village of Virsavia, on the east coast of Barbados. Thanks to its beautiful views, it is the island's most photographed beach. The hallmark of Bathsheba Beach is a large boulder located in the coastal strip of the beach.

Beach description
The turbulent character of the Atlantic, which creates strong waves in this area, makes Bathsheba Beach popular with both local and visiting surfers. Every year, surfing championships are held here, for example, "International Pro Surfing Classic". The Bathsheba Beach area suits great for picnics, sunbathing, hiking, boogie boarding. Due to strong waves, uneven rocky bottom, dangerous high tides and low tides, it is not recommended to swim here.
It is possible to get to Bathsheba Beach from Bridgetown in 40-60 minutes by car, taxi or bus. Near the beach there are several restaurants and shops, where it is possible to dine on local dishes and buy rum, as well as hotels and guesthouses, where it is possible to rent housing.
