Enterprise beach
Enterprise Beach, also known as Miami Beach - a beach area consisting of two adjacent sections - the northern (Enterprise Beach) and southern (Miami Beach), surrounded on all sides by cliffs. It is one of the ten best beaches in Barbados. Enterprise (Miami) Beach is located in the southern part of the island, near the town of Oistins. Beautiful views of the sunset, clean white sand and calm water attract local residents and tourists here for relaxation and water sports.

Beach description
In the northern part, the beach is protected by a breakwater, and is more suitable for rest for older people and families with small children. The coast is sloping here, the sea is shallow, and the surf is soft. The southern part of the beach is more open, so the waves are always stronger here. It is this part of the beach, that visitors choose for windsurfing, bodysurfing and bodyboarding. Locals use Enterprise (Miami) Beach for jogging and walking, as well as a docking place for catamaran cruises.
There is a rescue service, rental of loungers and umbrellas on the beach. Near the beach there is a bar, equipped in an old van, a beach shopping complex and a shady grove, where picnics are usually arranged. Every April, a fish festival is held at Oistins, during which folklore shows, fishing competitions, beach races, fairs and other entertainment are organized.
When is the best time to go?
In Barbados island, the temperature is hot all year round, so the only thing that can ruin your vacation experience is the rainy season in summer. Any other period, the weather in Barbados is sunny and comfortable for all ages.
