Kungasny Cape Beach in Vladivostok is a vivid example of how from an unattractive place on the coast you can create a beautiful recreation area, impressive cleanliness of the coast and developed infrastructure. It is located almost in the center of the city, in the bukhta Bezymyannaya of Amur Bay, and in recent years, it has become one of the most beloved beach by locals and guests.

Initially the coast of Kungasny Cape was hard to imagine in the form of a favorite vacation spot of citizen. But the cleaning of the shore from debris, driftwood, broken bottles, fittings and renewal of the coastline due to the imported snow-white sand, as well as the arrangement of all the necessary attributes of beach comfort in 2014 gave this area the appearance of a real well-maintained beach.
There are several nuances that should be considered, when going to visit here and enjoy a beach holiday:
- A convenient location within the city adds to the attractiveness of this coast. But this is its main disadvantage, as it is very crowded in summer.
- The coast of the beach is sandy, but the seabed is rocky. Among the white sand on the shore, especially contrasting and exotic look green grass lawns, near which there are beautiful benches for recreation.
- Despite the official ban and a lot of warning signs everywhere on the coast, many vacationers still risk swimming on the beach. Even kitesurfers often appear here on windy days.
The main reason for the prohibition of bathing is the discrepancy of local waters to environmental standards (dirt and the presence of algae). But it is one of the best places in Vladivostok for sunbathing and funny beach leisure on the shore, especially for family holidays.
Those who decided to take a dip in the water should not forget wear aquashoes, which will protect you from cuts on sharp stones. It is also worth considering that this coast is not controlled by rescuers.
When is the best time to go?
The best time to relax on the Far East coast is July and August. At this time, the temperature of water and air reaches maximum levels: about + 20°C on ground and slightly lower in the ocean. Summer in Primorye is rather short and foggy, especially in the southern regions - the humidity there is much higher, which also contributes to a comfortable rest.

From the hostel to the coast just 10-12 minutes walk.

The route to the beach, when traveling on any of the suitable buses, is similar.
