Okunevaya Gulf beach
Okunevaya was once called Maly Tazgou. This name was given to the gulf in ancient Chinese times. Ecological vacation lovers run to the south-eastern side of the Primorsky area to find a fairly beautiful place near the small village of Wrangel, where the sea plays with all shades of blue, depending on the depth, and the clarity of white sand is protected by rocky shores with lush greenery.

Vacation in Okunevaya is for those who prefer relax quietness and calmness. There are many families with children, as the gulf is not big, so they are easy to watch. Three parts of the beach, which are fixed to different recreation bases, are carefully cleaned, no cigarette butts and plastic containers. There are not too many people, because there are no "savages", only those who live at nearby bases have a vacation here.
For those who plan free vacation with sleeping bags and tents it will be difficult here, there are not free parkings. Road leading to Okunevaya ends with recreation centers.
From June to September the water in the gulf warms up to hot, main part of vacationers arrives at this very period. There are no noisy companies observed, the sea is also calm. It is quite spacious on the vast beach. Fresh sea water is for adults. Children splash with pleasure in a small warm backwater.
Toilets are located outside the beach, which contributes to the enjoyment of clean air. Bases are well equiped, there is everything for full vacation of children and adults: outdoor sports grounds, special areas for children, swimming pools. Those who love swimming in warm water will appreciate it. Boat trips, diving, baths are offered. There are cafes and shops on the territory of bases.
Going beyond the territory of the bases, tourists plunge into the majestic beauty of the local nature. Unusual forms of rocky outcrops hit the imagination. The forest is full of mushrooms and wild plants.
When is the best time to go?
The best time to relax on the Far East coast is July and August. At this time, the temperature of water and air reaches maximum levels: about + 20°C on ground and slightly lower in the ocean. Summer in Primorye is rather short and foggy, especially in the southern regions - the humidity there is much higher, which also contributes to a comfortable rest.

It’s better to plan your vacation in Okunevaya in advance; there may not be any vacant places in the houses in the peak season. The houses are located on the shore in 2 rows. They are relatively new, there are all the amenities available, they can accommodate from 2 to 6 people. You will not find any infrastructure objects outside the bases.
Fenced areas are well-groomed, paths are laid, there are mangal zones, the living ones are provided with food. In some places you can cook by yourself. One thing, on which guests complain, is prices. As for Russian resort they are quite high, despite good service.
Among entertainments sea fishing is popular, divers and lovers to hunt in the depths come here. Many people rent cutter or boat to get to the islands. The calm sea during the day allows you to ride a kayak. For hiking amateurs, there is a route to the neighboring bay. There are almost no people in Yezhovaya, tourists come here to escape in the picturesque nature.
There is no Wi-Fi everywhere, the road to the vacation place is difficult, but everything is compensated by the divine beauty of the Russian landscape. The access to the bay is quite complicated, there are abrupt climbs and turns that are breathtaking, during the rainy season the clay road is washed out. Multiple rocky areas do not submit to a low-rise vehicle.
