Petrov Gulf beach
Petrov Gulf has length about one and a half kilometers and is located opposite the island of the same name, near the Lazovsky Reserve. The most beautiful and calm place for family vacation. There is wide range of unique plants and living creatures. The names of the island and gulf immortalize the name of the officer of the Russian fleet. Local name of the gulf is "Singing Sands", which reflects a characteristic feature of the coast: when walking you can hear sand whistles under the soles.

"Singing Sands" are washed exceptionally by clear azure sea, the transparency of which reaches 30 m. Access to the bay is controlled by employees of the Lazovsky Reserve. To drive to the coast, you must obtain permission from the local office. You should plan your vacation in these places in advance, the simultaneous placement of a large number of people is impossible.

The best time to visit beach of the Petrov Gulf is the last two decades of August and the beginning of September, when the water has already warmed up well. Everyone who rests in the conservation area, observe a number of rules, the violation of which threatens a shameful expulsion:
- You can cook shashliki only in specially designated places, bonfires wherever you want are prohibited.
- Collecting wild plants and shellfish, fishing is also prohibited.
- During excursions deep into the wild territory, tourists are warned about the inadmissibility of leaving wrappers from sweets, chewing gums, packaging from food, cigarettes, plastic garbage.
The gulf and its neighboring island are connected by a foreland, through which some imprudent travelers tried to get into the reserve on their own. It is dangerous, strong current not once caused casualties.
Reserve workers offer organized tours, during which tourists are expected on the island by:
- relict yew grove;
- ancient archeological monuments;
- a lot of evidence of the of sea robbers indwelling (iolu);
- wonderful water springs.
You can get to the island only in summer, and for the whole year it can accept no more than 1000 people. Children under 5 years old are also not accepted.

The best time to relax on the Far East coast is July and August. At this time, the temperature of water and air reaches maximum levels: about + 20°C on ground and slightly lower in the ocean. Summer in Primorye is rather short and foggy, especially in the southern regions - the humidity there is much higher, which also contributes to a comfortable rest.

- The bus, following the Vladivostok-Preobrazheniye flight, helps to get to Kiyevka. By car, you can go from Vladivostok to v. Lazo about 4-5 hours, getting out is better in the morning. The last 60 km of the ground near Kiyevka, depending on the season, are not very comfortable. The burden of the trip will be smoothed by the unique views of the Sikhote-Alin, Sergeyevsky (Lazovsky) passes.
- The roads of Lazovsky area do not tolerate reckless people: many steep descents, sharp turns, sections passing along the edge of the bluff. The permitted speed in the reserve is no more than 20 km/h.
