Magadan City Beach
The Magadan City Beach, located west of the city center, is one of the most popular holiday destinations for locals in summer season. Nagayev Bay Beach is the name of the beach area located within the city of Magadan, on the coast of the picturesque Nagayev Bay. It presents flat area of the shore protected from storms by mountaineous peninsula. The beach is covered by light sand, mixed with pebbles, the territory is clean. Even in summer season sometimes it’s windy, and in the morning and evening is foggy. Water is clear, but cold, does not warm up higher than +16° C, therefore, only people who are interested in winter swimming are decided to swim in it. Due to smooth transition to depth, the entry to the sea is very convenient, the sea bottom is sandy.
The beach is very popular among all the categories of people:

- youth;
- friendly companies;
- single visitors.
Locals often choose a beach in Nagaev Bay for picnics, setting barbecues here. Guests of Magadan love to come to the beach at sunset time to take beautiful pictures of hills and the sunset over the sea.
The city beach is within walking distance, it is very easy to get there: just go along Primorskaya street, come by car or taxi. Entry to the beach is free.

Infrastructure
Territory of the city beach, located in Nagayev bay, is not organized and does not have appropriate beach infrastructure: umbrellas, sunbeds, changing rooms and other amenities. But there is great an observation deck where you can using the binoculars enjoy the beauty of the bay.
Due to its proximity to the city center (just 1 km away), the beach is convenient for visiting even without the availability of infrastructure. Because everything necessary for pleasant vacation - cafe, bars, shops, attractions, rented accommodation - can be found next to the beach area.
