Es Arenals beach
Es Arenals is one of the most visited beaches of Formentera, situated in the southeast of the island, 12 km from the port of La Savina. Its vast sandy areas are scattered with flat stones, in some places descending into transparent turquoise waters.

Two resorts that fit perfectly into the surrounding dunes are spread over almost the entire eastern part of Es Arenals. In the northwest, Es Arenals is sitting comfortably alongside to Migjorn beach, where nudists love to relax in the private corners.
Es Arenals' tourist facilities include a center for water sports, several restaurants, kiosks and a beach bar known for its excellent cocktails and tapas. In the evening, you can enjoy a mojito at the bar, listen to music and watch the sunset.
Kayak and catamaran tours are organized by the sports center and windsurfing and rowing equipment are also provided by them. In the peak season, the beach is more suitable for beginner surfers, while advanced thrill-seekers should come here in the off-season, when the winds increase.
Sun loungers, umbrellas and volleyball nets are provided to guests in Es-Arenals. Lifeguards monitor the beach and, if the current becomes too dangerous, they raise a red flag. You can reach Es Arenals by scooter or car on few routes. Wooden paths lead from the parking lot directly to the beach.
When is it better to go
The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.
