Playa de Migjorn beach
Playa de Migjorn is located 2 km from the capital of Formentera, Sant Francesc Xavier, in the south of the island, in the village of the same name; the length is 5 km. Playa de Migjorn is a safe, crescent-shaped sandy beach with gentle entry into the water, the bottom is shallow. No jellyfish or algae, there're places where the bottom is rocky, but the rest of the area is sandy. Sand is white, water is transparent, turquoise, air is fresh. In some places on the beach there're huge stones behind which it is easy to hide from the wind. Due to the large area and length of Playa de Migjorn, it's easy to find a secluded place so that other tourists won't disturb the wholesome relaxation. Because of its features, the beach is popular with families with children. Playa de Migjorn has a desert island atmosphere, which is why it's very popular. It's the longest beach on Formentera.
You can get here by public shuttle bus – the departures are carried out daily according to the schedule. There are 19 cycling routes on the island, making it easy to explore the whole island. You can rent a bicycle at the hotel or another rental center on the island.
