Ses Platgetes beach
Ses Platgetes Beach is about 300 meters from the small fishing village of Es Calò. This stretch of coast, located inside a large bay between Punta Prima and Punta de Sa Cru, is formed by three small bays. One of them is divided by a rocky ledge into two natural pools, which are used by fishermen as a boat marina.

Ses Platgetes is characterized by rocky formations, a rocky bottom, clear turquoise water and golden soft sand. The beach environment is a chain of dunes covered with shrubs, behind which begins a pine grove. The beach has a rich underwater world and is very popular among divers. It’s less suitable for swimming due to the rocky shores and northerly winds.
Guests are served by a small store located across the street from the sand strip. You can stay for the night in beach bungalows, as well as guesthouses and guest houses. There are several excellent restaurants with bars in the neighboring village.
Ses Platgetes is easily accessible by car or scooter, heading for Es Calo. Having parked on the edge of the road leading to La Mola, you can quickly walk to the beach via walking paths. You can get to Ses-Platgetes by public transport. A bus stop is a short walk from the beach.
When is it better to go
The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.
