Aguas Blancas is a favourite beach of natives and tourists. Surrounded by high cliffs and unspoiled nature. It's the official nudist beach.

Beach description
It takes a 10-minute drive to get to Aguas Blancas Beach from San Carlos. The beach has golden, soft and fine sand. The bottom of the sea is also sandy, but in some places there are underwater rocks, so you need to look where you are going.
During the northeastern wind, large waves often rise here, which is good for body surfing. On windless days, the water is incredibly clear, which is appreciated by those who like to swim with a mask and a tube. There are 2 interesting rocky islands 30 meters away from the beach and a small cave at the right end of the beach.
Since the path to the beach is steep, the trip turns out to be exhausting. That's why there aren't many swimmers even in August. There's a place at the left end where you can get to by getting through several stones. There are no sun loungers and it's very quiet.
When is the best time to go?
The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.

Infrastructure
In the central part, there's a restaurant with a terrace 2 meters high, which offers a beautiful view of the sea. On the southern end, there's a beach bar, equally popular with hippies, locals and tourists. A beach stall sells fast food.
The nearest town is Santa Eulalia del Rio with numerous hotels and apartment complexes. There are comfortable villas available for rent nearby.

- Because of the high cliffs, the sun above Aguas Blancas disappears at around 5:00 p.m., so it's better to get here early, ideally by sunrise.
