Cala Vadella beach

A breathtaking view of the picturesque quiet bay, surrounded by green hills, opens already from the road, which is laid out high in the mountains. You can alternate swimming and lying in the sun with walking and hiking through pine forests.

Beach description

Cala Vadella is located in a small resort place with the same name, in 10 minutes drive from Sao Jose. In summer, buses run from there, as well as from San Antonio and Ibiza. Spacious parking lot is filled to capacity during the peak season.

Large, wide sandy beach with gentle entry into the water is ideal for children. Despite the large number of holidaymakers, you'll find a place here even in the midst of summer. Lovers of snorkeling and scuba diving will be fascinated by the crystal clear water.

The sheltered bay is popular with owners of private yachts and motor boats. They like to come here particularly in the evening to admire the romantic sunset from the deck.

When is it better to go

The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.

For those wishing to dive for the first time, there is a diving school near Cala Vadella. There are many cafes and restaurants in the village. It's quiet during the day, but it becomes very lively in the evening. The best time to watch the sunset is during dinner at one of the coastal establishments.

There are inexpensive apartments Puerto Cala Vadella overlooking the bay and different villas for people who want to relax without neighbors.
