Talamanca beach
Talamanca is a small piece of paradise near a noisy city. Only 15 minutes on foot and you're in a different world, quiet and peaceful. Despite the crowd of people, it's ideal for family holidays and relaxation. It doesn't close after the end of the peak season and is available for walks at any time of year.

Beach description
You can get to Talamanca by car. There're buses and ferries running from Ibiza. The best thing is to walk along the beautiful promenade along the yacht port. The recreation area is only 2 kilometers from the city center, so there're many people on the suburban beach. It's flat, with gentle entry into the water and covered with soft light sand. The bottom is sandy as well.
Talamanca is visited by both tourists and residents of the island. Despite the large number of guests, there is room for everyone even in the heat of summer, as the sandy strip is long enough – 900 m with a width of 25 m.
There are many local merchants in Talamanca during the high season, but you still can find a quiet and secluded place on the beach. The bars turn on the music, but not too loudly, so the vacationers are not disturbed by it. The atmosphere is pacifying, you just want to relax and read a book.
When is it better to go
The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.

Sports, entertainment
A diving school is open for those who want to learn more about the underwater world. There's a volleyball net. On the beach, you can rent the following water crafts:
- catamaran,
- banana boat,
- kayak,
- water scooter,
- flyboard.
Meal options
There's a wooden walkway along the entire bay. A series of food outlets stretched along the sides – from bars and cozy beach restaurants to a noble gourmet restaurant. Some of them are open all year round, so Talamanca is also popular in winter.
The locals like to go where the food is tasty and inexpensive. The restaurants also prepare both dishes from seafood and fresh fish and pizzas, which are considered one of the best on the island. Some restaurants don't close even at night.
Accommodation
Most hotels are built right by the beach. The windows of many of them offer a beautiful view of the old part of Ibiza. A lot of hotels are open all year round. The most famous are:
- Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort — a luxurious complex located high on the cliffs, to the north from Talamanca, where wealthy people stay;
- comfortable, but cheaper four-star Hotel Argos Ibiza;
- a relatively inexpensive guest house Hostal Talamanca near the beach area.
For families and companies who prefer self-service, nearby villas are a great option.
