Figueretas beach
Figueretas is a wide shallow beach in the center of the resort village, next to which there's a beautiful promenade with palm trees. Comfort, plenty of entertainment, a wide range of accommodation for any wallet and food outlets make it one of the most popular on the island.

Beach description
Figueretas (100x50 m) is located in Ibiza's suburb of the same name. The distance from the city center is 3 km. That's about 15 minutes on foot. You can get there by bus or a ferry.
The cliffs and piers, on which fishermen sit in the evening, divide the beach area into several parts. During the summer months, there're many locals and visitors here. Small ferries take holidaymakers to Ibiza, Playa d'en Bossa and Formentera.
There's no need in protective footwear, as the white sand, pleasant for the feet, covers the shore and the bottom of the sea. If you wish, you can sunbathe on a paid sun lounger under an umbrella or on your own towel. There's room for everyone.
The promenade is very lively in the evening: tourists of different nationalities walk around, merchants lay out their goods, waiters barely manage to serve their clients on the terraces of many bars and restaurants. The southern tip of Figueretas offers a beautiful view of the old town.
When is the best time to go?
The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.

Meal options
Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops are located near the promenade and in a small street behind it. Large bars and cafes have terraces overlooking the curved bay. Some of them are built right above the sea.
Most establishments offer dishes of international and Mediterranean cuisine, but there're also restaurants specializing in the cuisine of one country, such as Japan or Italy.
Accommodation
Figueretas has a wide range of hotels and apartments. Many of them are located by the sea or a few steps away from it. The best ones include:

An interesting alternative to hotels – villas with swimming pool and Mediterranean garden. Nothing bothers the guests, but all the entertainment is nearby.

Guests are offered boat trips and rides on banana boats. Kayaks and SUP-surfings (row boats) are available for rent. There is a diving school.

It's better to get to the beach early in the morning. There aren't many people yet, and the water shines beautifully in the sun. Be sure to come to Figueretas before sunset, when the sky is colored in purple, pink or gold.
