Beach description
Those who want to swim and sunbathe in Cala Salada can only get there by car. Public transport does not run here. The sheltered little beach is preferred by many locals and boat owners. The water is magically clear and suitable for snorkeling. The sandy bottom is soft and pleasant for the feet.
In summer, the little beach becomes crowded quickly. Many holidaymakers get comfortable on the rocks that separate Cala Salada from nearby Cala Saladita. You can jump into the water from the rocks, but it's recommended to check the depth beforehand. Some places aren't safe.
A picturesque stone tower is standing on the right side of the bay on a ledge of the rock. It's located near the path leading to Cala Saladita Bay with a small strip of sand. Well beaten paths invite you to take a walk in the stone pine forests.
When is it better to go
The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.

You should definitely visit the caves of Ses Fontanelles with images of the Bronze Age. The trip is long, but the view from above on the western coast is worth all the efforts. The cave resembles a rocky canopy and is protected by a grid. If you wish, you can go down to the sea on steep steps hollowed out in stone and swim all by yourself. However, you shouldn't forget to be careful!
