Beach description
The beach has sand and pebbles and is in great demand in summer. People of all ages, locals and tourists, families and couples in love like it for its unique views and quiet location.
The steep slope road to Cala d'Orte goes along the high cliffs surrounding the bay. During the high season, only one lane of traffic is available, as the second lane is occupied by parked vehicles. It's better to arrive early, so that after a long stay in the sun on the beach you wouldn't have to walk far to your car.
On windy days, when there're waves, Cala d'Orte is perfect for body surfing. Be sure to come here in the evening to see the sunset.
When is the best time to go?
The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.

Infrastructure
In the middle of summer, a small beach boutique sells designer beachwear. The beach has 3 excellent restaurants. They're all famous for their dishes from fresh fish and traditional fish paella.
