Cala Pregonda beach
Cala Pregonda beach is one of the most beautiful and least visited beaches. It is located in the northern part of the island of Menorca, 10 kilometers from the town of Mercadal.

The golden sand dunes located on the beach are parallel to the prevailing wind in this area. In front of the beach there are small islands, natural breakwaters turning this place into a quiet paradise. Here the crystal clear turquoise sea water and beautiful landscapes.
Kala Pregonda is very popular among fishermen, marine painters, divers and nature lovers. The best time to relax here is the warm months of July - September. There are no restaurants, cafes and equipment rental points on this beach, so you should take care of water and food in advance if you plan to stay here for a few hours.
Getting to Cala Pregonda by land is pretty tricky. You can only walk here from the nearby beach spending about 25 minutes on the road. The nearest hotels are located on Fornells beach, 6 km east.
When is it better to go
The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.
