Beach description
The beach is hidden in a cozy bay with crystal clear water and gentle beaches. A miniature sandy strip 100 meters long smoothly transforms into luxurious green spaces of tropical Mediterranean vegetation. In a small distance from the coastal zone, in an area where the level of water depth gradually increases, at the bottom you can find fragments of rocks in which marine inhabitants swarm. Despite its miniature size, the beach is very popular not only among tourists, but also among the local population.
You can get to the beach by taxi or by rental car. The small bay forming the beach of Cala Turqueta is located just 10 km from the municipality of Ciutadella.
Please note: if you want to take the best places to relax on a remote beach, it is better to go on a trip early in the morning. A bit hesitating, you risk a free space for your car in the equipped parking lot located in close proximity to the beach (a 10 minute walk).
When is it better to go
The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.

Infrastructure
There are no hotels in close proximity to the beach, there are no luxurious private villas, cafes and restaurants. There are only showers and toilets, as well as lifeguard towers, although the security level here is already quite high.
Going to the beach, do not forget to bring along a supply of food and drink. The beach is ideal for families with preschool children. At the same time, young people are unlikely to like it here, since there is no opportunity to go on rides, rent a yacht or a catamaran.
