Beach description
The coastal zone 175 meters long and 40 meters wide is characterized by white sand and a gentle slope into the clear water. The sea during the swimming season is quiet and calm. This is due to landscape features. The bay is surrounded by low cliffs with dense coniferous vegetation.
The beach is popular with nudists and diving fans. Even in high season, there are few people on the beach. This is explained by the fact that you can get to the paradise by sea or by car. For this you need to get to the parking lot of Cala Mitjana beach, and then, following the signs, walk along the mountain trails among the picturesque area for about 2 km.
There is no infrastructure in the territory. Going to the beach, take care of drinks and food for the whole day.
After a walk around the beach, you should definitely walk along the old streets of Cala Galdana or St. Thomas and visit one of the many restaurants serving traditional Mediterranean cuisine made with fresh seafood.
When is it better to go
The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.
