Florya beach
Floria is one of the most popular municipal beaches in Istanbul, which consists of two parts - Güneş and Menekş.

Beach description
The first part is 800 m long, requires an entrance fee and is of higher quality. Its infrastructure includes 2 lifeguard towers, 1500 sun loungers with umbrellas, 42 toilets, 234 changing rooms, 48 showers, 2 cupboards, 228 safes and parking for 300 cars. Guests are provided with water entertainment, beach volleyball and relaxing music radio broadcasts.
The second part of Floria Menekşe beach is located on a 600 meters long coastline with sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, toilets and 3 bars. Entry is free, so there are a greater number of people. On weekends, especially on holidays, Menekşe often has picnics. Some vacationers head to the nearby picturesque Lake Kuchukchekmeje.
The beach is ideal for swimming, sunbathing, hiking, cycling, watching the sunsets. The sea is shallow and calm here, the coast is sandy, the bottom is muddy in some places. There are several food stalls in the surrounding area where you can buy delicious delicacies. The easiest way to get to Florya Beach is by subway. The beach is within walking distance of Metrobüsten Cennet Mahallesi stop.
When is it better to go
A comfortable time for a trip to the Turkish seaside resorts – is from July to September. The air temperature in this period rises to + 40 °C, the water warms up to + 30 °C. However, you need to be prepared for a huge influx of tourists.
