Ao Nuan beach

Ao Nuan is the most isolated semi-wild beach on the east coast of Samet Island.

Beach description

The calm and solitary Ao Nuan resort is located 10 minutes away from Tubtim, with a path that leads through the jungle. There are a lot of tropical plants and trees on the coast that create natural shadows. The water is clean and transparent, without any stones; the sea bottom deepens gradually. There's a lot of space even during high season.

Wooden bungalows and a restaurant are situated under the exotic trees, but there's no other infrastructure. The resort will suit you perfectly if you're looking for a short, 2-day vacation. It's calm and cozy here, and the beach is great for swimming and sunbathing.

You can get to Ao Nuan Beach from either the north or the south of the island by taxi, songteo, rented bike or by simply walking the narrow pathways.

When is it better to go

The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
