Luk Yon beach
Luk Yon is a secret beach near the northeastern cape of Koh Samet, located in rocky bay with breathtaking sea views. Luk Yon can be found on a few maps, other names are: Supparod Beach or Pineapple Beach.

Beach description
The length of the coastline is 50m. There is one hotel and a couple of restaurants, shore promenade is the only entertainment. For more active recreation, people go to the nearby Sai Keo resort. On the shore of Luk Yon are umbrellas and sunbeds; the beach is well-groomed. There are a lot of stones in the water, shore is thin. Swimming is allowed, but the beach is more suitable for snorkeling and sunbathing.
Luk Yon is not crowded, difficult to come to the beach and the hotel. Security allow only hotel guests. Visitors can't walk along the coast because of stones and huge hills. The only unimpeded path lies through the forest from the observation deck on Sai Keo beach. A secluded beach is located near the center of Koh Samet, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, cafes, night clubs, markets and all the entertainment of the island. There is a sign on Sai Keo that points the way to the secret Luk-Yon beach.
When is it better to go
The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
