Wong Duean beach

Beach description
The beach is located in a private bay, has the shape of a crescent and is surrounded by hills and steep cliffs along the perimeter. The shore is covered with powder like sand, the water is clean and transparant, the shore is shallow. There are no strong wind and waves. Conditions are perfect for holiday with children.
The only disadvantage of this beach is the dependence of the tides. At low tide, visitors will have to walk a long distance to the depth, and at high tide, the water floods almost the entire coastline.
In the center of the beach is a pier, which is always a lot of boats. It is fenced off from the bathing place by buoys. The area is home to exotic birds and crabs. Part of the beach is covered with thick greenery which provide additional protection from the sun.
Wong Duean is a calm private beach with unforgettable downs and sunsets.
When is it better to go
The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.

Where to stop
There are numerous comfortable hotels and bungalows on the beach. Both cheap and expensive options can be found.
What to do
There are shops, cafes, restaurants, coffee bars and cheap minimarkets are open on the shore. The range of dishes is diverse, the institutions prepare dishes of European, Thai, Mediterranean cuisine. In the evenings, tables and chairs are placed on the shore, fire shows are held, and live music is played. All bars and places of entertainment are open till 10pm, there are no night clubs and discos which work till morning.
There are bike and various swimming equipment rental agencies. The beach is equipped with sunbeds, which are owned by hotels, but they can be used by anyone. During high season people should pay a rent for a beach chair.
