Lung Dam beach
Lung Dam is a small cozy beach located in a lagoon in the South-East of Koh Samet island.

Beach description
The shore is sandy with stony areas. The lowering of the bottom is smooth, but the passage is difficult in some places. During strong winds very high waves appear. In the shallow areas people can see small fish. During high season Lung Dam is very popular. The sun is very active, so it is recommended to use sunscreens and do not take a sun bath for more than 1.5 hours a day.
From the pier Nah Dan to Lung Dam people go on minibuses songteo. There are restaurants, bars and minimarket on the beach. People can book accommodation in hotels or bungalows on the beach. At the disposal of tourists expensive and budget rooms of different levels of comfort. Nearby is a bar, cafe and shops.
There is a wooden pier on the beach where you can fish or sunbathe. Next to the pier there are booths for relaxation with benches and tables. On the Western part of the beach there is an observation deck.
When is it better to go
The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
