Beach description

This protected area is ideal for diving, rich in pristine coral reefs, rare species of fish and shellfish. There is a bonus for night diving enthusiasts - the opportunity to observe flocks of phosphorescent fish, glowing in the dark.

It is a pleasure to take walks too - they offer views of the high coastal mountains with freshwater springs full of clear icy water, sand dunes, Bedouin settlements. Ras Abu Galum - a home for unique species of animals and rare plants.

Here are a few shops and restaurants, cozy huts instead of hotels. For those who decide to stay in Ras Abu Galum are guaranteed peace and tranquility from the cosmic landscapes of pristine nature and the friendly sea.

When is it better to go?

Red Sea resorts are open year-round. However, in July and August it is better to refrain from traveling, because there is unbearable heat, approximately 35-40 degrees, you can sunbathe in the sun instantly. May-June and September-October is the best time to travel to Egypt, because the heat is decreasing and hotel prices are getting lower (since the Mediterranean holiday season is still open).
