Dragon beach
Dragon Beach is located in paradise of Morocco in a enigmatic and mysterious place called Dakhla in the Western Sahara. Dragon Beach got name for a reason. Sand dunes have appearance of dragon crests, which are directed into the waters of the Atlantic and large rocks look like spikes and spots on the crests. Dakhla beaches are very quiet, secluded and not crowded. From Dragon Beaches offer beautiful views of endless bright blue Atlantic ocean. Beaches are covered with white sands. But large stones in water are found everywhere at the foot of crests of Dragon Beach. On Dragon Beach windsurfers from all over the world, both professionals and beginners gather, for whom specialized schools and instructors work on beach. Every year the world famous kitesurfing tournament is held in Dakhla.
Dragon Beach is popular among watersports enthusiasts, because of the strong winds, beach holidays in this part of Morocco are almost non-existent. It is also worth noting that in desert there may be interruptions in drinking water, so it is recommended to have a small supply with you.
When is the best time to go?
The beach season in Morocco opens in April and comes to a close in October. The best months to visit the resorts of this country are May-June and September-October.
