Tamara beach
Plage deTemara also known as Tamara is located in suburbs, 16 km from Rabat the capital of Morocco in the small beach town of Tamara. City is provincial, but very colorful with white and blue architecture and beautiful beach. Recently, shores of Tamara beach are partially built up by private households, which significantly reduced area of the beach. But this did not affect the popularity of beach among tourists and locals. Because of large beach area, always looks free and not crowded.

Beach description
Tamara beach is washed by warm waters of the Mediterranean sea. Endless turquoise waters and a wide strip of fine golden sand create a picturesque view. Entrance to the water is smooth and gentle, sea in this part of Morocco is shallow, which allows families with young children to relax comfortably. Bottom is clean sandy, without algae and stones. Guests of Tamara beach can enjoy camel or horse riding along the beach line. There are areas for volleyball, as well as for extreme windsurfing, water skiing and surfing for active guests.
Also interesting that Tamara beach is lively even in the evening and at night. On beach territory hosts various events, competitions, relays, games, which are designed for both adults and children. Not far from Tamara beach is a large modern zoo, which is home to more than 200 species of various animals and birds.
When is the best time to go?
The beach season in Morocco opens in April and comes to a close in October. The best months to visit the resorts of this country are May-June and September-October.
