Mirleft beach
Mirleft is located in a small town called Mirleft, located where the Atlantic ocean meets the mountains. Peaceful and beautiful beach of Mirleft is a real jewel of Morocco. The town sits on a small hill, where remains of old military fort, built by the Spanish in 1935 still remain. Get to city by taxi, bus or private transport from Tiznit and approximate travel time is thirty minutes.

Mirleft beach is located in quiet bay surrounded by mountains. Surface of beach consists of golden sand with a silky texture. Entrance to the sea smooth and shallow, water is clean, transparent with a bright blue tinge closer to the horizon of the Atlantic ocean merge with sky, gives the edge of the world. Beach is popular with both tourists and locals. In the period from July to September there is an influx of tourists, so beach is crowded.
Mirleft is a quiet town with amazing sandy beaches and high waves. Mirleft beach is known as a paradise for surfing, five of the seven beaches of city have fantastic conditions for practicing this sport. Also popular on beach: windsurfing, running, paragliding, fishing, trekking and just walking along ocean.
When is the best time to go?
The beach season in Morocco opens in April and comes to a close in October. The best months to visit the resorts of this country are May-June and September-October.
