Tamraght beach

Tamraght is a stretching for several miles of pristine coastline located on the Atlantic Ocean, in the village of the same name (Agadir province). Thanks to the fame of one of the best international spots for surfing, it is very popular among beginners and experienced athletes. You can get to the Tamraght beach from nearby towns - Awrir and Taghazout, by bus, car or bicycle.

Beach description

Tamraght beach is characterized by white sand cover and the absence of natural shading, constant waves. Thanks to the sloping sandy bottom, smoothly going to a depth, it’s convenient to enter the water. Tamraght does not have a standard beach infrastructure, with the exception of several shops and housing options located directly in the village. In addition, there is rental of hydro scooter or ATV, surf equipment in the village. Nearby towns offer more opportunities for a varied vacation for visitors to the beach, for example, you can visit a hammam or spa.

There are several points for surfing on the Tamraght beach – Panorama Point, Banana Point, Anchor Point, Devils Rock and Spiders. In addition to surfing and kitesurfing, Tamraght beach is a convenient platform for hiking along the coast.

When is the best time to go?

The beach season in Morocco opens in April and comes to a close in October. The best months to visit the resorts of this country are May-June and September-October.
