Contadora beach
Contadora is the second largest island of the Las Perlas archipelago that's located in the northeast of Panama Bay of the Pacific Ocean, and it's known for it's well-developed tourist infrastructure. White sandy beaches occupy its shores.

Beach description
There are a lot of hotels and hostels on Contadora. You can find restaurants, bars, cafes, night clubs, shopping malls, jewelry stores selling their products with perls from Isla del Rey, the biggest island of the archipelago. Equipment for diving is rented out in the specialized shop. You can go on a tour of islands, partake in diving, underwater swimming or snorkeling.
You can get to the Contadora Island via a ferry from the Brisas de Amador harbor or via a domestic flight from the Albrook Airport. It's recommended to book ferry tickets two weeks prior to your trip as you probably won't be able to get a place on the spot.
When is it better to go
Favorable time for a beach holiday in Panama begins in the second half of December and lasts until April. Air temperature during this period does not exceed + 32 °C, water temperature – not lower than + 23 °C. It is noteworthy that in the Caribbean Sea the water is several degrees warmer than on the Pacific coast.
