Farallon beach

The wide sandy coastline stretches along the thick tropical forest. The descent is smooth, the sea bottom is sandy, the waves are low. The Decameron hotel chain and several luxurious resorts operate on the coast and in the town.

There's a rental store with hammocks and other beach equipment on Farallon. Kayaking, surfing, underwater swimming, horse riding and ATV riding along the coast are among the available activities. A golf course is situated near the beach.

The beach is very popular among tourists from all over the world and the locals. It's especially crowded during weekends. There are many families with children here. Parking lots are available along the beach, and there is a camping site here.

When is it better to go

Favorable time for a beach holiday in Panama begins in the second half of December and lasts until April. Air temperature during this period does not exceed + 32 °C, water temperature – not lower than + 23 °C. It is noteworthy that in the Caribbean Sea the water is several degrees warmer than on the Pacific coast.
