Albena beach
Albena is a resort complex with a large and landscaped beach area, balneological thermal waters, beautiful nature and a full range of services that provide a comfortable stay. The beach is located in a preserved area 30 km from Varna and is known as an ecologically clean region marked with the Blue Flag.

Beach description
The Albena Beach is a 5 km long and 150 m wide area along the coast covered in grainy light golden sand. The beach is very well-kept by the staff. The descent here is smooth, with gradual depth rise (100-200 m away from the shore), the sea bottom is flat and sandy too, with no seaweed, making it perfect for children.
It's very calm and comfortable here, with fresh breeze, warm sea and low waves. The beach is equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds that you can rent for a small price. Some hotels provide equipment for free. A rescue station, toilets, changing rooms and showers, a small beach library and a cafe all operate here. Visitors can swim and sunbathe, partake in water skiing and catamaran riding, learn water karting and snorkeling, dive and windsurf. The nudist part of the beach is located at the end of Albena Beach.
You can get here from Varna, which has an airport and a train station, by car, bus or taxi.
When is it better to go
The beach season in Bulgaria begins in May, although most of its resort areas at this time can only offer relaxation with swimming in the pool, because the sea is still cold. The choice of when to come to rest depends on personal preference. Those who cannot stand the summer heat should come in June or September, and women with children up to a year should also choose this time. For families with older children, a quality beach holiday is guaranteed from the beginning of July, when the sea warms up enough to swim in it without restrictions. The beach season ends at the end of September, although on some beaches in the southern part of the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria the sea remains warm until October.

A curious fact, but Albena is not a town or a village in the usual sense. This is an exclusively resort area, where are no ordinary residential buildings, but only hotels and other tourist infrastructure facilities. Comfortable rooms with sea views here offer more than 40 hotels of different price categories.
The developed infrastructure of Albena beach creates the most comfortable conditions for the relaxation of its visitors. For tourists there is being offered:

The lack of attractions in Albena does not reduce the value of a vacation here, since it is easy to get to neighboring cities, where you can see a lot of interesting things:
