Shkorpilovtsi beach
Shkorpilovtsi is an ecologically clean beach area 13 km long, surrounded by a forest. It is located in the village of the same name, 45 km from Varna. You can get here from the airport by car, taxi or bus. Shkorpilovtsi is not crowded, because of the remoteness from the main beach resorts, this will appeal to everyone who is looking for secluded places.

At tourist's disposal in Shkorpilovtsi there are campsites, guest houses, hotels of different levels, as well as areas where you can relax with a tent. In the summer guests have a chance to participate in rock festival, carried out there every year, and enjoy walkings in the forest, visiting spa springs.
The beach in Shkorpilovtsi is sandy with low-angle approach to the sea, water is clear and warm which makes an ideal conditions also for family holidays with children. As a rule, there is windy on the beach and there are small waves, that's why among water attraction here the most popular activities are kite surfing and windsurfing. In this regard, there is here the best Bulgarian school specializing in these kinds of sport, located on the beach. Special mention of guests should go to the nearby tourists attractions such as: national nature park "Kamchiya" and wildlife reserve "Sands of Kamchiya".
When is it better to go
The beach season in Bulgaria begins in May, although most of its resort areas at this time can only offer relaxation with swimming in the pool, because the sea is still cold. The choice of when to come to rest depends on personal preference. Those who cannot stand the summer heat should come in June or September, and women with children up to a year should also choose this time. For families with older children, a quality beach holiday is guaranteed from the beginning of July, when the sea warms up enough to swim in it without restrictions. The beach season ends at the end of September, although on some beaches in the southern part of the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria the sea remains warm until October.
