Irakli beach
Irakli is a combination of wildlife and the cleanest sandy beach with a length of about 3.5 km. It is located 15 km from the tourist complex "Sunny Beach", between the village of Emona and the town of Obzor. Due to the remoteness from the big cities and the lack of hotels in the beach area, it is always sparsely populated (except in July and August). You can get to it by car, taxi or bicycle.

Beach description
The paid Vai Beach, named after the local river Vai, is located in the northern part of Irakli. The beach is well-maintained and has a rental store with sunbeds and umbrellas, cafe, shop, rescue station and first-aid post, paid and free parking lots, showers, changing rooms, toilets, volleyball court and minifootball arena. You can partake in surfing during windy weather.
The southern part of Irakli is reserved for a wild beach with no infrastructure. Tourists usually come here with tents, as there is a camping site on the beach's territory. The sea near Irakli beaches is clear and clean, the descent is quite smooth and safe, the sea bottom is covered in stones that gradually turn into sand, the shore is clean and the sand is snow white.
When is it better to go
The beach season in Bulgaria begins in May, although most of its resort areas at this time can only offer relaxation with swimming in the pool, because the sea is still cold. The choice of when to come to rest depends on personal preference. Those who cannot stand the summer heat should come in June or September, and women with children up to a year should also choose this time. For families with older children, a quality beach holiday is guaranteed from the beginning of July, when the sea warms up enough to swim in it without restrictions. The beach season ends at the end of September, although on some beaches in the southern part of the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria the sea remains warm until October.
