Cacao Beach
Cocoa beach is a trendy beach located between Sunny Beach and Nessebar. It owes its name to a nightclub, opened on the coast in 2003 and which has become very popular due to the music parties held here, night discos and parties, where music is played by beginners and famous DJs. Many fans of electronic music come here to see their idols during the summer season.

Beach description
Cacao Beach is a dune beach 500 m by 150 m in size
covered in grainy golden sand. The sea here is clean, with a long shallow area and a smooth descent without stones or seaweed. Cacao Beach will be perfect for young tourists, couples, families with children and elderly visitors.
The entry here is free, but the beach is divided into two zones - free and paid - as are many other town beaches. There are no natural shadows here, but unlike the free zone, the paid zone is equipped with cozy sunbeds with pillow and umbrellas, as well as marquees where you can hide from the heat, food and beverages from local bars and restaurants can also be served here. The free zone visitors will have to rent beach equipment, and they'll have to go to the nearby cafe if they're hungry. Showers, changing rooms and paid toilets are also set up on the beach.
Despite the fact that going here during high season is quite expensive, the beach is always crowded, especially the free zone. But even during high season it still isn't as crowded here compared to the beaches of Sunny Shore.
Cacao Beach is open almost 24/7. There are several ways to get to the beach:
- walk from the Sunny Shore;
- or take either a bus, a taxi or rent a car if you're coming from the Sarafavo Airport in Burgas, from Burgas itself, from Nesebra or other resorts.
When is it better to go
The beach season in Bulgaria begins in May, although most of its resort areas at this time can only offer relaxation with swimming in the pool, because the sea is still cold. The choice of when to come to rest depends on personal preference. Those who cannot stand the summer heat should come in June or September, and women with children up to a year should also choose this time. For families with older children, a quality beach holiday is guaranteed from the beginning of July, when the sea warms up enough to swim in it without restrictions. The beach season ends at the end of September, although on some beaches in the southern part of the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria the sea remains warm until October.

Along the beach area of Cocoa Beach are located mainly nightclubs, discos, restaurants and bars. During the day, these establishments serve as a resting place for bathers, and at night they turn into a zone of bright and noisy parties.
