Duni beach

The northern part of Duni Beach is well-developed and perfect for calm vacation with children. The beach's infrastructure consists of comfortable hotels on the shore, rental stores with beach equipment, paid toilets, cafes, bars and a playground for children. Shops, pools, restaurants, souvenir shops and tennis courts operate on hotels' premises. Water attractions include sea tours on jet skis, yachts, water skis etc. Duni also offers the opportunity to partake in motor hang glider flights, and the northern part of the beach has fishing and windsurfing spots.

The beach has a smooth descent and a big shallow area, which, combined with the clean grainy golden sand, makes swimming and sunbathing safe and nice. The sea is calm and clean here thanks to the big breakwater that covers a part of the beach. The nearby coniferous forest and mountains protect the beach from cold winds. Besides the well-maintained beach zone, the southern part of Duni has a "wild" zone without the typical conveniences where locals and tourists travelling in their own cars come.

When is it better to go

The beach season in Bulgaria begins in May, although most of its resort areas at this time can only offer relaxation with swimming in the pool, because the sea is still cold. The choice of when to come to rest depends on personal preference. Those who cannot stand the summer heat should come in June or September, and women with children up to a year should also choose this time. For families with older children, a quality beach holiday is guaranteed from the beginning of July, when the sea warms up enough to swim in it without restrictions. The beach season ends at the end of September, although on some beaches in the southern part of the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria the sea remains warm until October.
