Sveti Vlas - a resort complex with a beach area marked with the international Blue Flag - a special award for environmental quality. It is located 40 km from Burgas, north of Sunny Beach. The beach area of St. Vlas includes several equipped beach areas.

Beaches on Sveti Vlas:
- Elenite is a sandy beach located 5 km away from the resort, with beautiful landscapes and calm sea, full of water attractions and services. The Central beach of the resort consists of several zones, both free and paid. Football fields and volleyball courts, trampolines and other water attractions are available here, and cafes, bars, a rest zone equipped with armchairs and sofas, and a rental store operate on this beach. The Eastern beach, 400 m long, isn't as well-developed and comfortable. Surface is mixed, with sand and stones, and seaweed can be found near the coast. But visitors can still rent sunbeds and umbrellas here, buy an air mattress, ride catamarans and boats.
- The New beach is known for being a comfortable vacation destination. It has a tropical style, which is why all the objects here, including umbrellas and canopies, are made out of reeds, which creates a beautiful and cozy atmosphere. The New Beach visitors can also eat at the local cafe, visit a spa center or spend some enjoyable time at the water attractions, go to the local gym and take some windsurfing lessons. A special playground for children operates here.
- A good option for family vacation would be the beach located near the Villa Tuna hotel. Clean sandy shore with a smooth descent into water and a shallow patch all contribute to this fact. The beach has a well-developed infrastructure that will guarantee a great time - changing rooms, restaurants, water attractions, beach canopies etc.
When is it better to go
The beach season in Bulgaria begins in May, although most of its resort areas at this time can only offer relaxation with swimming in the pool, because the sea is still cold. The choice of when to come to rest depends on personal preference. Those who cannot stand the summer heat should come in June or September, and women with children up to a year should also choose this time. For families with older children, a quality beach holiday is guaranteed from the beginning of July, when the sea warms up enough to swim in it without restrictions. The beach season ends at the end of September, although on some beaches in the southern part of the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria the sea remains warm until October.
