Beach description
The Sunny Shore Beach is spacious and 100 m wide, covered in grainy golden sand. Despite the free entry and lack of closed zones, there are well-maintained parts with rows of paid umbrellas and sunbeds here.
It's quite crowded during high season here, but it doesn't feel like it as anyone can find a spot for themselves. But the loud and dynamic atmosphere of Sunny Shore Beach won't suit anyone searching for solitude. The water may also be muddy sometimes due to the high amount of visitors.
The beach is perfect for families with children thanks to the numerous comfortable hotels right near the beach and a shallow bay with smooth descent and a flat and safe sea bottom. This is helped by the fact that there are no high waves in the region, and the water stays warm up until the middle of September. Young and middle-aged tourists and couples are also aplenty during high season here. Visitors have the opportunity to practice kitesurfing and windsurfing, especially during the windy days, or try some other water sports. There's a rescue station operating here that watches the beach and informs if swimming is permitted.
A nudist beach is located on a small patch covered with sand and stones, far from the hotels. There's no typical beach infrastructure here, but several cafes are located nearby.
You can get to Sunny Shore by boat or tourist locomotive from Neserba, or alternatively take a bus or a taxi from Burgas and Varna - towns with airports and train stations.
When is it better to go
The beach season in Bulgaria begins in May, although most of its resort areas at this time can only offer relaxation with swimming in the pool, because the sea is still cold. The choice of when to come to rest depends on personal preference. Those who cannot stand the summer heat should come in June or September, and women with children up to a year should also choose this time. For families with older children, a quality beach holiday is guaranteed from the beginning of July, when the sea warms up enough to swim in it without restrictions. The beach season ends at the end of September, although on some beaches in the southern part of the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria the sea remains warm until October.

Infrastructure
On the first line and further along the coast of Sunny Beach are located modern 2-3-4-star hotels, that offer rooms for any budget. More luxurious five-star hotels are located in the northern part of the resort. Around the hotel there are many souvenir and grocery stores, spas, cafes and restaurants.
For children on the beach are specially equipped:
- swimming pools;
- playgrounds;
- attractions with slides and swings.
Every day for children animation programs with games, contests and discos are held here. The youth audience will also be able to find pleasant entertainment for themselves, relaxing in the evening in nightclubs, karaoke bars and casinos, many of them are located along the beach. Guests of the resort can spend daytime visiting spa procedures and Turkish baths, riding catamarans or water scooters, making boat and yacht tours, flying with a paraglider behind a motor boat, playing bowling, hiking and horseback riding on the waterfront promenade or in the forest park area, that is surrounding the resort.
On the territory of Sunny Beach there are supermarkets and souvenir shops, shops with beach accessories and equipment for water sports, where you can buy everything you need.
