Milocer beach

Milocer Beach is located on the shore of the eponymous resort village at the foot of the Durmitor massif, 8 km from Budva. The beach is known for the beauty of landscapes and inaccessibility for budget tourists. In the village is the former royal residence of the Karageorgievich dynasty, converted into a hotel where representatives of the elite of different countries, statesmen and the richest people of the world have a rest. Regular visitors have access to some parts of the unique Botanical Garden surrounding the coastline, however, to relax on one of the beaches you should pay a large amount.

Beach description

The beach at King's Bay, owned by Milocer, is only accessible to hotel guests. From the sea there is a magnificent view of the pebble beach and the hotel building, surrounded by stone curbs, arches and tropical plants of the park. The King's beach is about 300 meters long and has excellent infrastructure.

Thanks to the mountains and lush greenery of the beach, Milocer is well sheltered from the winds. It is always calm and quiet, there are no discos and nightclubs, crowds of fun young people and ubiquitous children.

When is it better to go

The high season on the beaches of Montenegro begins in July and lasts until September. During this period, here is settled a dry sunny weather, the air temperature reaches + 30 °C, there is almost no rainfall, the Adriatic warms up to very comfortable + 26 °C. Sea resorts are overcrowded to the limit, there are a lot of people on the beaches, prices for accommodation, products and services are at their maximum.

Hotel Villa Milocer 5 * on Milocer Beach has two buildings that used to be the residences of Karageorgievich and Joseph Broz Tito, and offers 8 luxuriously furnished rooms, two of which are in a separate building and represent huge rooms of about 130 m² with a living room, bedroom, dining room, bathroom, balcony overlooking the park. The living room and bedroom are equipped with fireplaces. Each room occupies one floor and is equipped with a separate entrance. Specially for guests:

In the village of Milocer there are several restaurants and cafes with excellent cuisine and excellent service where you can order Montenegrin, Mediterranean, Balkan, European cuisine, fine wines, desserts. The prices are high.

What to do

Milocer is an ideal place for lovers of long walks and relaxation away from the noisy and hectic tourist centers. The village is characterized by picturesque architecture with narrow cobbled streets, medieval churches and residential buildings. It is worth visiting the Botanical Garden, where you can admire the magnificent landscape design and relax in the shade of cedars, pines, cypresses, breathing in the aroma of exotic plants. At the entrance to the park there is a plan that indicates accessible sites and protected private estates.

Among the popular tourist routes are a pedestrian climb to the mountain, where the existing 11th-century monastery of Praskvitsa or "peach" is located. On the territory of the monastery there is a spring, the water of which tastes like peach in taste and aroma.

On the tops of the surrounding mountains there are observation platforms with stunning views of the coast and the sea.

There are several travel agencies in the village who organize boat trips along the coast and travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania. The magnificent royal beaches can be admired from the sea, going on a trip by boat or yacht.

How to get there

It is convenient to get to Milocher by a rented car from Budva. There are parking lots at the beaches where you can park your car and go for a walk around the resort. There are also regular buses from Budva to Milocer.
