Trsteno is a white sandy beach about 200 m long, 8 km from Budva.

Beach description
The descent into the water is gentle and very long – about 50 m. The water in the shallows is very warm, clean, calm. The bottom is sandy. The peculiar arrangement of coastal cliffs protects the bay from the winds. Trsteno is especially comfortable with young children.
On the territory there are paid areas on concrete platforms on which the rental of sun loungers and umbrellas is € 7 per set.
Trsteno is a public beach with free access. There are rental sun loungers, umbrellas, changing cabins, showers, toilets. Available rental catamarans, jet skis, boats, rescue workers on duty. There is a two-level restaurant, cafe, first-aid post and rescue service. Near the beach there is a paid (€ 3) and free parking.
In the season on Trsteno is very crowded. Here residents of Budva and other coastal cities with families, tourists from different countries have a rest. It is advisable to arrive as early as possible, since by 11 am all sun loungers and umbrellas are dismantled, there are almost no empty seats on the territory.
When is it better to go
The high season on the beaches of Montenegro begins in July and lasts until September. During this period, here is settled a dry sunny weather, the air temperature reaches + 30 °C, there is almost no rainfall, the Adriatic warms up to very comfortable + 26 °C. Sea resorts are overcrowded to the limit, there are a lot of people on the beaches, prices for accommodation, products and services are at their maximum.

How to get there
It is better to get to Trsteno from Budva on a rented car on highway number 2 or along the Donjogrbaljski Put road. The journey takes no more than a quarter of an hour. Regular buses are usually crowded and stop in an uncomfortable place for vacationers. A taxi ride will cost approximately € 10.
