Beach description
The beach is divided into small zones with infrastructure at different levels. Many are equipped with playgrounds, restaurants, cafes, showers, toilets, car parks, locker rooms. There is also a rental of beach equipment at a price of 7-15 euros per set for two. Near the resort there are villages, there are shops and small restaurants. Apartments for rent in the nearby village of Štoj.
On the coast lies black volcanic sand with healing properties. Arthritis, rheumatism, muscle diseases come to the resort. The lowering of the bottom is smooth, shallow near the shore, the depth increases gradually and without drops. There are no bays and bays, so waves rise on the sea, sometimes winds blow. The water is warm but cloudy. There is little entertainment on the sea, in the south of the beach there are several kitesurfing stations. There is a rental of wetsuits and the necessary equipment. Those who want to ride on the sea rent a boat.
When is it better to go
The high season on the beaches of Montenegro begins in July and lasts until September. During this period, here is settled a dry sunny weather, the air temperature reaches + 30 °C, there is almost no rainfall, the Adriatic warms up to very comfortable + 26 °C. Sea resorts are overcrowded to the limit, there are a lot of people on the beaches, prices for accommodation, products and services are at their maximum.
