Petrovac beach
Central Petrovac is a free public beach, located on the main bay with same-name town, its length is 600 m and its width is 15 m.

Beach description
The shore is flat, the beach is fine pebble and pale-gray sand. The water is shallow near the shore so it suits for the families with children. The water in the sea is clean and clear. The majority of tourists come there in June-August.
There are many hotels within a distance of 1 km. There are plenty of cafes and attractions; life-saving service and rental service(a sun lounger with an umbrella) are available. There are beach showers, toilets free of charge. Tourists are allowed to bring their beach equipment. A few hotels of beach-front locations allow using their sun lounger and umbrellas. Tourists ride jet skis, pedal boats, raw boats or dive in the sea. For the youngest vacationers, the rubber shoes sold on a beach though it is safe to walk barefoot.
The quay lines up the coast, there is a great number of retails, gift-shops. In the evening discos take place on the terraces. The main attraction is the famous Venetian fortress Castio, or Castello in the north of the resort beach. Central Petrovac is universal: it suits for youths and families with children.
When is it better to go
The high season on the beaches of Montenegro begins in July and lasts until September. During this period, here is settled a dry sunny weather, the air temperature reaches + 30 °C, there is almost no rainfall, the Adriatic warms up to very comfortable + 26 °C. Sea resorts are overcrowded to the limit, there are a lot of people on the beaches, prices for accommodation, products and services are at their maximum.
